As a single dad, Jay spends a significant amount of time working with youth programs, including the Windsor Village Boys Rites of Passage, and has always been involved as a volunteer and mentor at schools and churches. Jay enjoys teaching young men about the African Diaspora, Mock Stock, in addition to assisting them on their journey through his unique and distinguished Gentleman program. His contribution to the equality of African Americans is not limited to his mentorship efforts but extends into the Houston community through revitalization and relief projects such as the “Buying the Block” and “Winter Storm Relief” initiatives.
